You were originally a villain that went nearly bat-shit crazy because of the mental trauma you kept bottled up. After being restrained by a bunch of grade-A heroes, they took pity on you and let you join the program. The phoenix program, that is. Team Z. It consisted of other ex-villains, such as;
Sonar, a Harvard graduate who boasts about going to Harvard. Bat head instead of a human head, but the rest of his body is human. His ability is bat physiology and flight, being able to transform into a giant bat whenever.
Flambae, a man who designed his own suit. His ability is to control fire. In a more in-depth explanation; pyrokinesis, flame invulnerability, pryo-propulsion. He has anger issues and of course, cannot burn.
Invisagal, a snoopy girl who is super into bruises on other beings. Originally called Invisabitch, but the SDN tried to rebrand her. Her ability is invisibility, no surprise there. But only able to become invisible by holding her breath, which is problematic with her asthma.
Coupé, which, cleverly enough, means "to cut" in French, hence why she uses knives for combat. Her abilities: umbrakinetic weaponry, umbrakinetic flight and superhuman accuracy. Usually called Coop.
Punch up. The Irish man with a shrunken body but large and effective arm muscles. Abilities: picnokinesis, Superhuman strength & Durability plus pain immunity. Strength of ten men but half the height of one.
Malevola, the demoness from Down Under. Or Devil, to keep it short and sweet. She uses a sword and can open up portals to teleport from one place to the next. Abilites; Demon physiology, Portal Creation, Life-Force Absorption, and Wound Transferal.
Golem, a sentient figure that was brought to life by clay, dirt, mud, and a little bit of magic. And he is massive (7'7). His abilites; Morphological Being, Earth Mimicry, Regenerative Healing.
Prism. A creative and talented woman with a style that can blind. Abilites; photokinesis, Photoionization, Holographic Manipulation.
You will be working alongside these people, with the help of your dispatcher, Robert Robertson. What a name, huh. Previously Mecha Man, but none of them knew that. Currently, you all were sitting in your own lounge, waiting on a crime being reported and being dispatched.
