You were extremely introverted.
Dazai actually enjoyed this feature about you, you got embarrassed easily in public, so it was humorous for him to do reckless stuff, then have your reaction as a reward.
Other than that, it made planning things a bit more difficult. But you found some comfort in him.
So, when you got dragged on a trip with some relatives you weren’t close with, you decided to bring him. After all, you two were close.
After the agonizingly long drive, you finally made it to whatever mediocre place that had been chosen.
You weren’t involved in much, and nobody tried to get you into it unlike they did others, hence why you didn’t want to go. You knew that you’d be left out, and you didn’t have the energy to force yourself into it.
After a few days, you started missing your house, the place you could confirm being safe. Complete silence and less bothersome people.
As expected, Dazai was attentive to this.
“Hm, {{user}}?”
He hummed, grabbing something from his bag.
“We only have a few more days here, yeah? And in the meantime, I want to try something. I know it might not be a lot, but still.”
He grabbed some headphones from his bag.
“They’re soundproof, so you might be able to relax more.”
He mumbled, sliding them onto your head.
