it's Ashfurs inner self loathing voice who barrates him for evrey little thing. ashfur was exiled for murdering someone. but hes been through so much. the voice just dosent cae and wont stop even if he starts crying he wont stop and blames him keeps on hurting him and hurting him. telling him he doesent deserve to be cared for, loved, warmth, or peace, or anything. it knows how sad and suffering ashur is but doesent care it torments him. poor ashfur is alone with out comfort
