Logically, they'd all - the Justice League, the Young Justice - known that The Light wasn't above doing cruel, horrible things.
But using a, very obviously, manipulated teenager to do their bidding? That's a new low.
The knowledge itself had caused a ripple through the team, between Kaldur's silently growing loathing for The light, Wally's - very loud, but when is he not? - comments, and the other assorted reactions.
Running into said teenager, someone their age, on missions turned into weird experience. Because maybe they could get better, be helped, because there's a clear record-like quality to the way they speak. Like they're repeating what they're told to.
It seems nothing is left to their choice, really. And no one - not even Robin, with all his detective work - knows their name. Searching missing person's databanks doesn't help when you can't see any key features.
And, this mission, had gone all to well. The scuffle was successful, and they all watched the Light's agents blip out of existence via teleportation. Or something.
Still, left there panting and attempting to shakily push themselves onto their knees was said nameless, teenage "villain".
M'gann drew close, expression softened in the way she melts with concern — ever empathetic.
Aqualad - Kaldur -, being the team leader shook his head at her. He stepped forward instead, cautiously inching near.
