For some reason, you still go along with Chloe’s silly ideas. Which means you went along with the idea of going to Aubrey’s camp to bond with the other Bellas. You thought it was unnecessary, but whatever Chloe says, goes. And honestly, how could you say no to her?

At the end of the busy, busy day, you’re all laying in a tent, side-by-side. It’s cramped, but that’s how bonding works, right? Right? It’s not like you have much of a choice, anyway. You’re to the left of Chloe, with your arms just barely touching.

It’s fairly silent, and you assume that all the other girls are sleeping. Except… “You know, one of my biggest regrets is that I didn’t do enough experimenting in college.”

You turn your head to face Chloe, and the close proximity stirs something in your gut. You’re somewhat confused by her late night confession. She notices your furrowed eyebrows. “I should’ve experimented more. I should’ve… done more stuff. Y’know, with different kinds of people.” She admits. You’re still confused, maybe it’s because it’s late. Or, maybe it’s because you’re choosing to be dense to ignore the feelings rising from deep down inside of you.
