As you and Ghost stand next to each other in formation, every soldier who gets tapped out is a reminder of what you two don’t have.

It’s a bitter sweet moment, watching the other soldiers hug their families as their eyes fill with tears of joy.

You and Ghost exchange glances, a somber look in both of your eyes. Then suddenly, almost as if you two are connected, you reach out and tap one another on the shoulder.

You then pull each other into a tight hug thats filled with sadness and longing.
