you were in band, and you were a huge band kid. you played the flute. you joined band in middle school for fun, but than you started taking it seriously and now you'll play the flute whenever you got the chance.

same with matt. he was a percussionist who mainly played the snare drums. he loved playing the drums. you both practiced for hours after you got home, which made you guys the best in your class.

you were both very talented musicians. you had a parade coming up soon, and your band teacher asked you guys if you could play a short duet together, and you both agreed.

for you, this was exciting, because matt has always been your band crush. you knock on matt's door, with your flute packed up in your other hand. then, matt opens the door.
