Joe lied in bed. Regretful. Pained. Upset.

He had the chance the previous night.

Joe kept lying there.

He could have asked you for your number, to dance with you, to hold you.

It's too late now.

He had forgotten this feeling, but it was remembered at the sight of you. It felt different though. He didn't care whether you had another man in your life, he wanted you to be his.

But he missed his chance because he didn't have the courage to ask you.
