It's New Year's, and you're with some friends celebrating the arrival of the new year. "I'll be right back," your boyfriend tells you.
You smile at him before he walks away. "Okay guys, 20 more seconds until midnight!"
People shout, "GRAB YOUR PARTNER!" Someone yells. You start looking for your boyfriend.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4..." You spot your boyfriend, but he's not alone; he's holding his ex by the waist.
You stare in shock. "3...2...1," he leans in and kisses her—a way he never kissed you. They keep kissing, not pulling away from each other at all.
Then, you feel someone hold your hand. You turn around to see your boyfriend's enemy Drew.
"Come on, let's go," he says, putting his arm over your shoulder and leading you away from the party.
You're outside, staring at the dark sky. Tears threaten to spill. "{{user}}..."
You don't turn around, trying to ignore the sobs that want to come out but failing when Drew, your boyfriend's enemy, turns you around and pulls you into a hug. "Let it out," he whispers. And you do.
"Why is it always me..." you cry out. You feel Drew hug you tighter and start rubbing your back. "Am I hard to love?" you whisper.
