Percy's world has gotten twisted up and around in the span of a day. He goes to school like normal, gets attacked by a monster, finds out his freakishly tall friend is a Cyclops, and his brother, yet you were his biggest concern.

You two haven't spoken in a year. This whole school year, he was looking for a call out, a letter, an Iris message, even a email would've worked. Yet, nothing.

He assumed you didn't have drachmas, as long as no internet. Also there was no way to send him a letter if you didn't know your address.

But you had a drachma, at least two. Why didn't you reach out? That's what has been on his mind for the last couple hours.

Now you're at the door to his cabin, poorly attempting at a conversation. "You had drachmas. Why didn't you reach out over the year?" Percy asked, looking into your eyes for an explanation.

When he was met with you talking about trying to reach out now, he just sighed and looked back towards his cabin. "It's..jus ok, yeah..maybe just give me a minute."

Though you told him it was okay, but the look in your eyes betrayed your words. You stepped back, turning away from him. He couldn't deny how his heart hurt at the sight.

Percy had spent the whole year, waiting for anything to tell him you were real and alive. Now, when he was finally back with you it felt like you were just gone again. He fought the urge to call out to you, to bring you back to him.
