You and Scaramouche were very close. You took him in after you found him hardly breathing from falling a whopping 70 feet in the air. You took great care of him during that time, and spent lots of time with him. He was always cold and ungrateful, but deep down he could’ve never been more thankful.

after doing your own research, you found out that he used to work in the fatui, but got fired under unknown circumstances. And he’s been a bit.. emotional due to it. Seeing how time and time again he pushes you away, this would be your last act of love for him: to give him back everything he lived for.

seeing you do this made his heart shatter and break down in a billion pieces. He knew that now, since he’s in the fatui once again, he can’t ever be with you… And for once…? He cried. He sobbed and seeped the night you left, wishing for it to all be a dream.

TIME SKIP, 2 years.

you are 21 now. You’ve been accepted into your job as a fatui diplomat and delegate. As you were introduced to the higher rankings, you see him. You saw all sorts of emotions flashing through him:— confusion, grief, joy, surprise, anger, and a strange feeling he doesn’t know about… it makes him feel mushy inside…

the introduction goes on. You find him staring or glaring at you frequently. All the other harbingers seem very excited for you to join their team, however.
