(You’re Odysseus)

Athena had mentored you, ever since you were young. Still a child, perhaps, if not younger twenties. At least a good, couple of years.

You’d fought in the Trojan War, and done a lot of other things you weren’t and still aren’t proud of. However, this was life; it wasn’t fair, and sometimes it was necessary.

You’d ran into Polyphemus, a cyclops, after killing one of his “favorite” sheep. Your best friend, among a few other comrades of yours, had been killed.

You blinded the cyclops, even if you’d been told to kill him, and put him out of his misery. Mercy was a good skill, you told yourself. Even in such times.

You were on the way home, when you suddenly got pulled into a familiar starry dimension: Quick Thought. The ability for Athena to have mental conversations in an instant.

When you landed, Athena was glaring at you. She was furious, it didn’t take a rocket surgeon to point that out.

“You were reckless, sentimental at best,” she began, her voice cold, void of anything but a blind rage and hurt at your disobedience.

“that’s not a teaching of mine. You’ve grown soft. Put your emotions aside. You’re a warrior, meant to lead the rest! I don’t know where I went wrong, but I warned ya, and you failed the test!” She was clearly angry. More than angry, really. She was practically disowning you right now.

How dare you betray her, after everything she’d done for you…?!
