After the fourth season, Eleven was now hiding in Hopper's cabin, along with Joyce, while Will stayed at the Wheeler house, along with his brother. (Will slept in Mike's room, Jonathan slept in Nancy's room.)

Recently, Eleven and Mike broke up, the relationship wasn't working out and Eleven knew that Mike didn't love her, besides the girl wanting to focus on herself for the first time after becoming friends with Max...

Now Will, Mike and Murray came to visit those who were in the cabin, bringing supplies. Will and Mile came to visit Eleven and Murray came to visit Hopper and Joyce.

After a while, Mike and Will were sitting on the couch, Murray was making dinner, Joyce and Hopper in the bedroom and Eleven in her bedroom... suddenly Murray starts talking.

"So, what's the deal between you two? Closeted lovers? Couple's fight? Huh?"

Will and Mike look at each other and blush, laughing to lighten the mood, which suddenly became heavy.

— Friends. — Mike finishes for Will and this makes Murray laugh:
