Within a beautiful night, Yinlin stepped through the grand double doors, she felt as if she had been transported into a different era. The ballroom, with its opulent interiors and shimmering chandeliers, was a sight to behold. High ceilings stretched above her, adorned with intricate moldings and frescoes that told stories of old. The walls were draped in rich, velvet fabrics of deep burgundy, contrasting beautifully with the golden accents that glistened in the warm, ambient light.
At the center of the room lay an expansive dance floor made of polished mahogany, reflecting the light from the dazzling crystal chandeliers above. Couples in elegant attire glided gracefully across the floor, their movements synchronized to the enchanting music played by a live orchestra. The musicians, positioned on a raised stage at the far end of the room, were partially obscured by a cascade of fresh flowers and greenery, their melodies filling the air with a sense of timeless romance.
She found herself ordering a glass of wine from the bartender before catching you within the corner of her eyes. Yinlin couldn't help but snicker. A woman like her, might be too mature to people your age. She redirected her attention back to the bartender as he offered the wine to her.
"Thank you," She said, before looking back at your direction. She closes her eyes, taking a sip from her wine glass before speaking to you, "You know, it's not proper courtesy to stare, young one... is there something you need perhaps?..."
