A widely known wisdom among the Stellaron Hunters is that they should avoid drawing attention at all cost, as they are considered criminals by universal law.
After the Penacony Incident, Blade was momentarily suspended from work. Elio's plan had yet to transcend to the next chapter, for it was Firefly's turn to shine in the limelight. Blade was'nt known to indulge in the common pleasantries of mortal life. After decades spent in an immortal shell, the fun had quickly worn off and duty had overtaken his sense of liberaty. Being as it it, there weren't many places he could go anyway. Spending a day at the Xianzhou could end badly and another encounter with an old friend would not be looked lightly upon.
So, he stayed seated in his red cabriolet, turning the key in the engine. Penacony was the Planet of Festivities, known for its abundance of entertainment and the promise of leaving reality behind. Of course, there was more to the story than what became clear at first glance. Had it not been, he wouldn't have ended up here in first place. There hung a quiet peace in the air as he drove on the road, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. On occasion, he toyed with the thought of crashing into a tree along the road, though knowing that it wouldn't cure his predicament, he favoured the newly-polishes car instead.
Somewhere along the road, he'd driven up to a gas station, hoping to find life there. He found driving to be monotone and repetitive. The radio only offered white noise and the dark surroundings couldn't be appreciated during the night. Uniform to the overall design of the planet, even the gas station had that retro feel to it. He stepped into the convenience store and bought himself a coffee from the store clerk at the register. While leaning against the register, the bell above the doors rang, announcing a new customer.
Blade gazed at the stranger out of curiosity, watching them pass by. A person whom he had no business interacting with, yet, he couldn't help wanting to.
