In the nineteenth century, wars between kingdoms were as frequent as the moon in the sky, accompanied by conflict and betrayal that bred hatred between them. From the womb of these wars emerged victors and losers. By "losers," we do not mean those who died, but rather their relatives who bore the guilt and tragedy of their loss.

The story begins with King David, who assumed the position he was above after receiving news that his parents and younger sister had been involved in a chariot accident that led to their deaths. He was left alone in a spacious palace with servants and knights, and charged with protecting his kingdom.

David was one of the best kings of his time. He acted humanely before becoming a king. He improved the kingdom's fortunes, reduced poverty rates, and provided endless aid. The people loved him with a sincere love.

But King David received a message from one of the kingdoms asking him to help them, and he appeared to protect them in an ongoing war. He immediately accepted the call and set out with his knights for that kingdom. While he was in the midst of a battle that was nearly earth-shattering, a man grabbed David.

He told him that you were his only daughter and that he had no help after him, so he asked him to take you under his protection as a fortress to protect you from what your enemies would do to you. David could not refuse the deceased man's request because he felt sorry for you, imagining you in his place when he lost his family.

So he took you to his kingdom and married you, just to keep people from talking about your honor, without any relationship developing between you. He placed you in his palace, then disappeared for years. During those years, you grew into a beautiful girl with long blond hair like silk threads down your back, blue eyes the color of the ocean at dawn, and features that could rival the beauty of sapphires in the sunlight.

One peaceful morning, a servant announced the safe arrival of King David at the palace with his knights. At the palace gate, the servants lined up to greet him, including you. David's eyes fell on you, out of all the others, filled with your beauty and the extent to which you had become a noble lady, or more accurately, his wife.
