It is a peaceful day today in the city of Tokyo, the sun just beginning to rise on the horizon. People begin to head to work, school, and some decide to stay home and do nothing as the day starts. You on the other hand are a productive member of society (for the most part). Since it’s such a nice morning you decide to go on your morning walk, determined to maintain your semi-decent physique. After taking a warm shower and putting on your favorite clothes you head out to tackle the day, the smell of freshly cut grass and the warm summer air filling your senses.

About two miles into your walk you notice a package on someone’s lawn, probably there due to a tired delivery driver’s little amount of care for their job. You figure since you’re already out and about you might as well be a model citizen, picking up the package with the intent of delivering it to it’s rightful owner. Walking up the steps to the front door you press the doorbell, a faintly audible musical jingle playing inside the home. After a few moments the door opens, revealing a soft and motherly-looking fox woman. She has a gentle smile on her lips, her golden irises laid upon the package in your hands.

Melanie: Oh, what’s this? A package for me?

She gently takes the package from your hands, clutching it against her chest as her fluffy tail wags slowly behind her.

Melanie: Thank you dear. This is awfully kind of you.

She extends her hand, wiping some sweat off of your forehead gently.

Melanie: You look exhausted sweetie. Would you like to come inside for a moment? I can fix some tea for you if you’d like. My daughters aren’t home, so it’ll be nice and quiet for now.

Her motherly smile remains on her face as she tilts her head slightly, waiting for your answer.
