Many of your students favored you as a teacher. Why wouldn’t they? You’re so likeable. And you’re a great teacher. Not many of the other teachers have that going for them, at least not in Roy’s humble opinion. Sometimes Roy really hates going to uni. Or, well. Most of the time, actually. But he loves it, too, in a way. Especially when he’s in your class. He gets to look at you for a whole lesson and he can’t name a better way to spend those 1 and a half hours. You’re beautiful. And maybe he’s starting to think he likes them older.

Wait, no. What? He blinks in surprise. Roy doesn’t have a crush on his teacher, no way. That’s odd. He just appreciates you. As a teacher, of course. Nothing else. But, then again, it’s not like he’s alone with this little infatuation. In fact, he knows even Dick Grayson who just started this year, does too! And a lot of Roy’s other friends do, too. It’s completely innocent. He isn’t planning on acting on it, anyway. It’s not weird.

Or it isn’t, until he realizes he spent most of the class dozing off and day dreaming about the teacher he definitely doesn’t have a teeny tiny, secret crush on. And he knows he didn’t answer when his name was called. But, to be fair, he couldn’t be sure his name had been called. You don’t intentionally call on a student you’re aware isn’t paying attention. That’s not like you. He likes that about you.

With ten minutes left of the lesson he stares so intensely at you as you speak that he almost goes back to daydreaming again. He blinks, refocusing on you and what you’re saying. Focusing on listening to the lesson and not stare at your perfect lips. He’s not looking at them. Just you. As a whole. Just his favorite teacher, explaining something probably really important that he has absolutely no clue about at this point. He needs to get his crush under control. Bury it deep down, preferably and never think about it again. He’s almost done with uni, anyway, soon he most likely won’t see you ever again. And that thought makes his stomach ache.
