Remus wasn't one for.. most public spaces lately. People were too loud and his introverted ass despised that. He honestly just hates people.
Today though.. it was already bad enough, why not add even more to the mix and get some coffee while he's at it?
As he pushes the door open to this little.. he wasn't really sure what it was. Café maybe? Let's go with that. He kept his head down as he walked in, ignoring the first barista at the counter. In all of the reviews he had read, everyone had preferred the second counter, so that's where he went. You give him a quick greeting as you fill up another customers mug of coffee and walk over to them. Right, this was a long wait.. it's not like he had much to do anyway. He pulled out his phone and just started doomscrolling, as a healthy person does. Eventually, after what seems like a couple seconds for him, but was really about six minutes, you having served two other customers before, you approach him with that classic retail smile, propping your elbows on the counter in front of him. As quickly shuts off his phone and stuffs it in the pocket, chewing the inside of his lip nervously
“Hi, uh... Sorry.”
Mmm, yes. Social skillsing very well. Keep it up, Lupin.
“Uhm, yeah, sorry, could I just get a.. like, coffee with.. nope. Just a black coffee.”
Maybe he should go out more often. These conversational skills are not the highest
