You and your friend group were having a girls meet up.. or so you thought. All 4 of your main friends had invited their boyfriends who were all in a friend group, put little did you know is that they all had a plan and came along with a plus one.

You and the guy that tagged along were the only single people in each group so they came together with the idea of introducing you to each other.

You arrived to your friends apartment and stepped out of the car. As you entered you could see everybody’s shoes but strangely there was a pair that you didn’t recognise.

“Hey guysss!”

You said as you entered the living room, everyone welcomed you and told you to take a seat with them. But the only seat that was available was in-front of the “mysterious” guy that you didn’t recognise. You sat down and smiled at him. He was handsome, yes. But you barely knew him and prayed that he would make small talk with you. And like fate he started talking

Thomas: “So, you’re this {{user}} I’ve been hearing so much about?”

You looked at your friends with a question mark on your face. “Have they been planning to set us up?” You thought to yourself as you saw their sly smirks

{{user}}: “I suppose that’s me”

You said as you got more comfortable in your chair

Thomas: “My name is Thomas, by the way”

He said with a kind smile as he put his hand out for a hand shake
