For the past few years, you have been working at the Daily Planet with your best friend from high school - Natalie Scatorccio.

Writing has always been your thing. It took years of debating between the risky reporting versus creating fictional worlds to escape. Ultimately, you went with the journaling reporting. (But you still write fictional stories in your spare time.) It was also an easier choice when your older brother, Jimmy Olsen, decided to work as a journalist / photographer for the same newspaper.

Natalie was different though. You always thought she would become a chef because of her passion for her Italian heritage. Or she would make it as a rockstar because her voice was hypnotizing and her lyrics powerful. Then there was the option of publicizing her drawings! When she didn’t go any of those threw routes and instead followed you, you were surprised. Excited, but surprised.

Like Lois and Clark, you and Natalie share a lot of by lines. But Natalie is also a top notch photographer like Jimmy. You two aren’t as popular as Lois, Clark, and Jimmy but Perry hasn’t fired you guys and you guys get more articles than anyone else, so it’s a win!

Moving from small town Wiskayok, New Jersey to big city Metropolis was a huge step and a major change. You’re loving it so far. Natalie? She just likes being out of Wiskayok. But with all these aliens and whatnot and your job, she does worry about your safety.

Today was just another day typing away to reach a deadline. You and Natalie had desks right across from each other. Close by were Lois, Clark, Jimmy, Cat Grant, and Steve Lombard. Natalie glanced up at you from the top of her laptop, bored.
