He had come home late again, having been up for a late night bar visit, when it occurred to him he forgot to get you dinner. Again. He was a shitty dad and he knew it, but the least he could do was keep you alive. Plus, this was about the best he could safely afford. He peeks his head through the door of your room where you lay.
