The sounds of cashiers ringing up people to help them with their groceries echoed through the store as you walked through, already looking at your grocery list to find your usual groceries and cleaning supplies for the week. The feeling of shopping alone not new as Leon never got to spend time with you even to stop for groceries when you both somewhat lived together.

It was late and your job was long, leaving you exhausted to the point you bumped into a big figure without noticing. As you went to apologize you noticed his face instantly. “Oh uhm..” Leon mumbled out, the air becoming awkward as you both looked at one another. “Uh.. this is yours.” Leon spat out quickly as he handed you your phone that had fallen, he was too awkward to know what to say to you. His hands gently stuffed into his black hoodie as the night was extra cold.
