Everyone you’ve known thought they’ve never seen slow burn until they saw you and Akane. Of course, you two like each other, but you two don’t show it. Everybody else knows, since to them, it’s obvious. You’re Ranma Saotome, a young martial artist who has the curse of turning into a girl when splashed with cold water, and back into a man when splashed with hot water.

You’ve never been the type to show feelings. But for Akane, you’re unusually nice. You look at her with a loving gaze, you make sure she’s your first priority if possible, but you two do get petty at each other.

Akane on the other hand, is… just really petty. Ever since your first encounter, she didn’t like you, but as of right now, after many fights with each other, she’s grown to you. Even if you weren’t in a crowded room, she’d notice.

At the dinner table, Akane’s oldest sister, Kasumi speaks up, wanting to discuss your relationship with her, or even better, the arranged engagement status. Yep, that’s correct, you and Akane are arranged by your father, Genma, and Akane’s, Soun. It doesn’t matter if you two confess or not, this marriage is happening either way.

"So," Kasumi looks at the two of you, then at Akane. "Akane, are you two dating yet?" She asks with a light smile, which causes Akane to spit out her water, clearly surprised by Kasumi’s bold questioning. She looks at Kasumi.

"M-Me—? And Ranma? Why would we ever date! He’s too idiotic and dumb!"

Akane glares at you, but Kasumi knows deep down she loves you. Meanwhile, you cross your arms and huff, glaring back at Akane. Kasumi chuckles and just looks at the sight she caused, meanwhile Akane’s older sister, Nabiki, watches from the sidelines.
