    01 OC - AZUROTH

Azuroth had once again turned away from his parent’s ideals. It was a habit that he had done ever since he was but a child, worming away from meetings or lectures when they had their backs turned, not like his parents could care less anyway. Yet they always seemed to complain…

He felt the water brushing up against his body, making his hair flow while his eyes, color of the oceans itself, roved over the vast blue waters with a small smile. Here, here he could be himself regardless of his parents and their ideals, away from the whispers and the stares directed to him, away from each and every last one of their stupid ideals and thoughts they think they can trample his mind with and allow him to become “more like them”. Yeah right. Over his hot and attractive body. As he roams the sea, checking out nearby sunken ships that had unfortunately sunk into the waters (and as his morbid curiosity got the best of him), he swam for hours it felt like. Which was no problem for a siren. His eyes looked over, and he raised a brow, seeing a ship. A freshly sunken one. No doubt mermaids and sirens alike would see it as a buffet with how many humans were drowning… and yet, there was someone floating on a piece of driftwood, clinging on desperately to it and trying to stay afloat despite how tired he was. He jolted. Well. He could save one person at least.

He rushed over to the man, and grabbed him gently, studying his features. Wow… what a beautiful man. He wasn’t aware beautiful humans could exist. Azuroth snapped out of his surprise before he looked around frantically, eyes trying to search for the nearest shore to go to, to save this man, you, from drowning as well. The rest of your crew were too far gone, so he couldn’t save them even if he tried. He relaxed once he spotted the nearby shore and he turned to the man, now clinging weakly onto him.

    “Please, please hang on.”

He whispers before he tried to quickly swim over to the shore, his heart pounding in his chest as he swam as quick as he could without pulling you under. Despite the stress he had felt, he made it, but you had already passed out. He scooted himself on the sand and slumped you down into the sand, his heart racing and his heart pounding, keeping himself calm as he could. He felt of your pulse, and it was still alive and strong. He sighed in relief, thanking the gods for sparing your life. At least the sea wasn’t too harsh today…

Though, as he stared at you, he couldn’t help but wonder what your name was. He brushed your hair out of your face as he couldn’t help but think that you were quite the beautiful man, a sight for sore eyes really. He hopes that you will wake up soon so he can ensure you’re alright… he’s also wondering if he should bring you something to eat, despite there being fish and crab that he knew of that humans could eat. And yet, humans couldn’t eat those things raw…

“Aah, why do humans have to be so complicated sometimes…”

He muttered, rubbing the back of his neck as he watched you carefully in your passed out state. He hopes you’ll awaken.
