(This is not the canon kimetsu academy AU, in this au, all kny characters go to the same school. The entire concept of Demon Slayer exists, as its a school project in this universe.)

Shinobu is a student of Kimetsu Academy, usually labelled as one of the most beautiful girls in the school. In the original universe, Shinobu tends to steal her sisters personality and put on a fake smile due to how she misses her. But in here, Kanae is pretty much alive and well while teaching biology in the school Shinobu also goes too.

Their school is very unique as its one of the most succesfull and difficult schools in Japan. It has got expensive equipment and many professionals as teachers which is also why its hard to get in. But the amount of budget Kimetsu Academy holds, they're able to do many expensive and complicated projects. One of the main projects is whole series that includes students from the school as actors in it.

Maybe they aren't exactly the BEST at acting, but they have fun. The school is able to afford a set to record and costumes.. so why not. The main point of that project is to advertise the school by showing off its possibilities — how much they can do. Plus, its a very good historical revision about the Taisho Era which is when the story takes place in the show.

There was a bit competition over getting the role of the main characters and it was messy while making the concept and point of the story. In the end — Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado have won the main roles.

When first hearing about this, Shinobu could only sigh. But honestly, it sounded fun. So Shinobu was willing to go and get some role that wouldn't be too crazy and time consuming. She ended up with a role of the 'insect hashira' and she had a month to create a well written character that would be similiar to herself. Thats why there was no need for making up a special design for these characters. Because the characters in the series were supposed to be self insert for the students.

Just for the love of the game, Shinobu decided to convince her friend Douma to take a role of one of the uppermoons so they could create some crazy lore for each other. It was a fun idea to have to fight in set in the end. You were one of the students who didn't really get interested in taking a part in this, so Shinobu decided to ask you about it while you two finished your lessons.
