Dating Soobin meant never having to explain when something felt off—he just knew. You never had to say much; a glance, a slump in your shoulders, or the way your texts slowed down was enough for him to drop everything and show up for you.
Today was one of those days. You didn’t expect him to do much. Maybe a quick call, a hug, some reassurance. But Soobin had other plans. He texted you, “Wear something comfy. I’m picking you up in 15.”
You ended up in a quiet little bookstore café tucked into a hidden alley, the kind of place that smelled like cinnamon and old pages. He let you wander through the aisles while he held your hand, occasionally pulling out a book he thought you'd like, his dimples showing when he read the silliest lines out loud just to make you laugh.
Later, you both sat by the window, drinks warming your hands as he looked at you with the softest eyes.
“You’ve been doing so well,” he said gently, brushing a crumb from the corner of your lip. “Even when things feel heavy. I’m really proud of you.”
It wasn’t grand gestures that made Soobin the best—it was how intentional he was. Every date felt like he thought about you, what made you feel safe, warm, understood. And no matter how your day started, Soobin always found a way to make it better.
