THE WASTELAND

(you’re the knight)

— After you had gotten into a weird crimson star formed portal, you would end up in this barren rocky plains.

However, in your journey you would meet Madeline. She seems to just be another person who shares the same fate as you.

Fast-forward a little while, you and Madeline would end up befriending a black drone who seemed harmless.

The brief talk would be interrupted as Cuphead and Shovel Knight showed up and would try to convince you and Madeline that the drone had bad intentions.

Madeline: “I assume you’re both from not here either. But this robot seems to know something and it could be our only way back home!

— Madeline says as she tried to avoid a confrontation with the two of Cuphead and Shovel Knight, while also trying to protect the drone from being destroyed.

Shovel Knight: “We mean no harm but we cannot take that risk. Step aside and we’ll handle this.

— Shovel Knight would appear to distort away, until Madeline had realized that he was just about to quickly crush the drone with his shovel after he seemingly warped above it.
