You've been at Professor X's high school from the very beginning, surely the most famous (and maybe one of the only) schools for mutants. From the first day you had your little group of friends, as you quickly got used to them and became friends.

Maybe, being in one of the last grades you would think that the problems you had being in the first grades would go away as you became more mature and grew up, but no, growing up didn't change anything.

From a young age, Emma's rivalry with Jean was incredibly tense. The rivalry over popularity, over who was the prettiest, over who got the highest grades.... Maybe you resented Emma when you were little, but now you resent her even more when you see her. Nor can you ignore the arguments that you and Frost have had over the years, making you maybe the first one who would be against being friends with Emma.

If the you of a few years ago had been told that Emma was in your group of friends, you might have acted the same way you acted when you saw her now.

You tried to show that you were not bothered by Emma's presence there, although it was impossible, maybe even she was the first one to notice it. As soon as Jean and the others said goodbye to leave, you would have done so too if it wasn't for the annoying voice you heard.
