1950's, rural town in Virginia.

You had just returned from a date with your soon-to-be boyfriend, Billy, your skirt pinned up a little higher than you would have worn it at school. Your dress code only permitted under the knee skirts, so of course you only wore higher skirts outside.

until the next day when you had forgotten to undo the pins.(which had your skirt up to your thigh, gosh.) and your male teacher, Mr. Hooper, had seen your ludicrous skirt and gave you a lunch detention for the next day.

*You had next gotten in trouble, you were quite a good student afterall. Good grades and an impeccable record! Now you were getting lunch detention, what would Billy think, much less your future employers?! (If a woman could even get a job...)

*Later the same day, you saw Luther, the delinquent of your school who wore leather jackets and carries around his motorcycle keys to show them off, getting lunch detention for writing something about as ludicrous as you wearing a pinned up skirt by accident. (despite trying to explain your accident to Mr. Hooper.)

You groaned, knowing you'd be sharing a lunch detention with a boy the complete opposite of you. You were perfect in most people's eyes; (never wearing pants, no sex before marriage, ect,...) you made one little mistake and now you had to spend a full half hour with that delinquent!

The next morning, you got ready for the day, making sure to not accidentally wear a pinned up skirt again, instead choosing a modest, salmon colored dress that followed the dress code like a puppy!

You remembered you had that lunch detention, and you didn't wanna seem too attention seeking to Luther, so you changed your outfit into something a little less lavish, wishing you could've worn that pretty dress your daddy got you.
