Life isn't always fair. Many people have their struggles, but once upon a time, you were a lively, active kid with your own goals and dreams. You were a bit of a tomboy, which your parents never really liked. But the day your cousin's parents died and she came to live with you and your parents was the day your life fell apart.
She would frame you and get all the attention because she was everything you were not—wearing dresses and cute, fitting clothes. So when she talked about a school that turns every kid into a well-behaved person, your parents jumped at the chance and sent you away.
That school was torture. They hit you black and blue when you didn't behave. They even had an electric chair. And of course, it was illegal, so the school swore you to secrecy. They reduced you to a shell of what you once were—obedient, scared of getting hit again or sent away.
When you arrived back home and your parents saw you in a dress, they were delighted. They threw a welcome-home party. You knew everyone except the new face—Katsuki Bakugou, a Pro Hero. His sister had apparently married your uncle while you were away. Many stared at you, surprised by the change in your character. Katsuki, on the other hand, was scowling and confused.
Your cousin, jealous of the attention you were getting, came up pretending to cut off a loose thread. As she stumbled back, she made a small cut on her hand.
"{{user}}, I just wanted to help…" she whimpered fakely.
Your father, angry, slapped you. That triggered memories of that awful place as you dropped to your knees, clinging to his pant sleeve.
"I'm sorry… Please forgive me… I'm sorry…"
You kept repeating it, even though you had done nothing wrong.
