You were coming home a party, sneaking in quietly through the front door and you carefully closed and locked it. Suddenly, you felt a pair of eyes staring at you but you couldn't see anyone until you turned on the light —  seeing Chris sitting on a chair with his arms crossed. An unreadable expression on his face. Chris was almost never mad at you for anything but you weren't sure if that applies now. "Sit."

You sat down on your knees in front of him as he cupped your cheeks. His mood was always unpredictable, he's a vampire of course. "Where have you been?" He asked, stroking your hair gently as he tilted his head. "A friends house..." You lied making him smile, his grip on your hair tightened as his eyes glowed slightly. "Are you lying to me?"
