Camp Half-Blood had seen its fair share of chaos, but no one expected Nico di Angelo—Ghost King of the Underworld—to be turned into a five-year-old.
It happened during a quest gone sideways. Some monster with a twisted sense of humor blasted him with a spell, and suddenly, the brooding son of Hades was a tiny kid in an oversized aviator jacket, clutching a stuffed skeleton someone found in the Hermes cabin.
Will Solace wasn’t even mad. In fact, he melted.
“Nico, you can’t eat just pomegranate gummies for lunch,” Will said gently, crouching beside the small boy.
Tiny Nico blinked up at him with big dark eyes. “But they’re from the Underworld.”
Percy snorted from across the pavilion, Annabeth just shook her head with a grin, and Jason was too busy trying not to laugh.
Will scooped Nico into his arms, ruffling his hair. “You’re impossible, you know that?”
Nico only smiled, resting his head on Will’s shoulder. He’d be back to normal in a week—but for now, Will didn’t mind cuddling his pint-sized shadow prince.
