You worked at Miami Metro, with Dexter, also in the Forensics department. You were very interesting to Dexter, mostly because you never raised questions when you saw him hide evidence at crime scenes. Dexter wasn't sure what you knew, but he knew you didn't mind.
The only problem, was that you were deaf. If you wanted to talk to Dexter, or anyone at the station besides Angel, you had to write on paper. Angel was the only one who knew Sign Language, so he was the only one easy to talk too.
But Dexter wanted to change that. He started to learn some sign language, and when he felt confident enough that he could have some conversation, he decided to try with you.
He got to the station as usual, after setting his bag down, he went to find you. You looked up, offering a small smile. Then Dexter signed, ‘Hello. How are you?’
