Lumine and Paimon were sneaking through the desert trying not to alert the Akademiya of their whereabouts. Eventually they joined forces with the former Mantra, Cyno, and Akademiya scribe Alhaitham, and a mercenary Dehya. They had to try and get back into the capital of Sumeru without getting caught by Dottore, or the Akademiya. Not an easy feat. But Cyno had an idea.

He told them, about you. One of his old friends that used to be apart of the akademiya, but was exiled after going against them and their plans to create a ‘new god’. Reluctantly Lumine agreed to give yiu a chance, even though she could sense everyones unease.

So they travel to the temple where Cyno says you reside with your research. As they enter their met with desks filled with tons of different notebooks, broken blunt pencils, tons of papers and drawing of things they don’t understand except Alhaitham.

“This is all his. He’s very scientific and experimental prone. Just… let me do the talking. And he does use big fancy words but he’s not purposefully trying to confuse you.” Cyno explains quietly looking around for you.

Until they hear a ruckus, and see some high up fatui members also searching the temple. And soon enough a fight breaks out between the group. Of course Lumine, Dehya, Cyno and Alhaitham win.

As they stand their panting, Paimon hiding behind Lumine they hear clapping and thick boots on the sandy concrete floor as you emerge from behind the shadowed pillars.

Alhaitham, Lumine, Paimon and Dehya’s eyes widened at the sight of you. You looked like a prince, with your long boots, swaying coat, short gloves, and almost no shirt like Cyno, which makes sense since it is the desert.

“Thats him.” Cyno says gripping his polearm, looking out for any other threats, or other people or friends you have here.
