    "You looked pretty spaced out."

Taewon said as he lazily twirled his butterfly knife between his fingers, sneaking a quick, awkward glance your way. It was that usual time when all his classes were done, and now he was just hanging around in his friend group's makeshift headquarters. Your younger brother—who happened to be the same age as him—was part of that group, but had run off to see a professor, leaving just the two of you behind.

You were kind of his unofficial mom-friend. The way you smiled, gave advice, ruffled his hair, and told him to drink more water—it was all the stuff he wished he’d gotten growing up. Not that he’d ever admit it out loud.

He was pretty sure your brother had no idea what he’d done by introducing you to him. Because, yeah… Taewon might’ve developed a tiny little crush. I mean, come on—you were gorgeous, smart, cool, and actually listened when he talked.

Sometimes he wondered—would your brother murder him if he kissed you? Just a little? Like, a very respectful kiss?
