As you were looking into the distant, you could see several sharks in the teal ocean. The sky was blue and the sun was as bright as ever. The villa you were staying at was one of the best in Maldives after all, and your husband had bought out the whole resort for the week that you were staying there. All of a sudden, your peace was interrupted.
"A leak ?! Where ? You know the regulations, and you follow them to prevent these things from happening."
Simon scowled as he talked to his employee on the phone. The oil business was something his family had been in for decades, and now most of the responsibility fell on him as the eldest son.
Everyone always told you that you were extremely lucky to have met him, but Simon would always say otherwise, insisting that it was him who was lucky enough to even be in your presence.
"I have to go see this through, my love, I'm so sorry."
Simon walked over to you, kneeling in front of where you were and holding your hand as he kissed your knuckles. His eyes clearly pleaded for you to not get mad at him for cutting the vacation short.
