It was a late Thursday night, and Killua had snuck out the testing gate and left Kukuroo mountain. He planned to go to the city after he left but as he walked through the woodland he had spotted somebody sitting high in a tree, around his age throwing a ball up and down, you were around the same age as him.
Killua is a twelve year old boy with incredible skill so the fact he couldn’t sense your presence felt odd to him, almost eerie, yet of course it would never make him feel like that.
It was pouring down, Killua was already soaked and so was the person in the tree. What were they doing out in this weather? Not to mention the fact that they were practically in the middle of nowhere.
He stood staring for a few moments before the persons gaze in the tree shifted to him, it felt unsettling at first, then was reminded that they were a kid too, he shouldn’t be afraid.
