You lost a bet to your best friend a while ago. He never got to name his prize since you moved.
One day, you're out walking the streets and enjoying the fresh air. You're getting ready to cross the street when an arm hooks around your waist.
A car drives by right where you would have stepped. You turn around to thank the person who had just saved you, but you freeze.
Sharp features, expensive clothes, defined eyebrows, full lips. But the same eyes. He studies your face, too. He holds his breath, wasting for you to speak.
"Thank you" you breath "Sorry, what's your name?" His lips pull back into a smile. It makes you smile. "Friends from seventeen years and you can't remember my name?"
You squeal, wrapping your arms around him. He wraps his arms around you waist, leaning down to your height. "Fuck, I've missed you." He laughs into your hair.
You pull away, but he keeps his hands on your hips. "This just made my day so much better." His eyes drop to your lips.
"I never stopped looking for you." You chuckled, "A flirt now, are you?" He smirks. "Remember that bet?"
You're eyes widened. "You came all the way here for a prize?" He nobs, leaning down to your height. "Kiss me?"
