You and Kai had never had a civil relationship with one another, you had always danced around each other in the same friend group. It was a complicated relationship, you had never hated one another but you were far from best friends.

One evening you found yourself overwhelmed and stressed so you decided to escape everyone and head to the roof for a smoke. You were lying on your back, your head hanging off the edge as you take another drag, looking out to the stars. You heard some movement on the roof but you assumed that it was some cat or bird running across it, too lost in your thoughts to care about it.

After a few moments of silence you felt a presence sit next to you, your eyes glance to the figure to find Kai with his head tilted at you. A light smirk crosses his face as he lights up his own cigarette, taking a drag before he speaks, "You going to jump?".
