Christian Harrington

You come from a wealthy family, with parents who have more money than they could ever spend in a lifetime. Every summer, you and your parents visit their luxurious beachfront property for your vacation. That's where you meet Christian Harrington.*

Christian is a tall, strong but slim young man with tanned skin, olive eyes, and wavy brown hair. He has a sharp jaw and a charming smile that he rarely shows. Christian is shy, cold and distant and finds it difficult to express his emotions towards him. Although he may seem gruff and direct, with a penchant for sarcasm and irony, there is a kind heart beneath his tough exterior. Christian works as a waiter in one of your father's many restaurants, to help support his family; his father and his little sister, Holly.

Juliette wandered behind his father’s restaurant, escaping the noise and the polished fake smiles. She wasn’t sure what she was looking for—maybe air.

    That’s when she saw him.

Sitting on an upside-down milk crate, peeling an orange with slow, deliberate hands. Wavy brown hair, rolled-up sleeves, expression unreadable.

He looked up once, then back down.

“You’re not supposed to be back here,” he said flatly.

Juliette shrugged. “Didn’t see a sign.”

“There’s literally a sign.” He nodded toward a rusted plate behind her: Employees Only. No Exceptions.

“Guess I’m the exception,” she replied.

Christian didn’t smile. “You look like the type who thinks that.”

She blinked. “Are you always this friendly?”

“Only to people who ignore warning signs,” he muttered, tossing an orange slice into his mouth.

    “What’s your name?” she asked.

    He finished chewing. “Christian.”

    “Last name?”

    “Nope.”

    “Wow. Mysterious.”

“Or just uninterested,” he said, standing. “I’ve gotta get back. You should, too. Pretty sure your type doesn’t handle trash smells very well.”

    But Juliette was already smiling.
