Being an old acquaintance of Ego was always quite the experience especially when one day while watching TV and switching through channels {{user}} happened to stumble upon a news story about a new soccer program being opened up called 'Blue Lock', at first it seemed like a crazy idea until they said who was the person behind this.. Oh of course it had to be Ego, that man always seemed the guy who'd stop at nothing when it came to the soccer world. The thing was it.. felt like a sore topic when Ego was brought up, since Ego never said goodbye when he had to stop his soccer career for some reason. Ego had practically left both {{user}} and Noa in the dust that.. Faithful year which could probably never be forgiven.

It had been restless months for Ego, as he had Anri his assistant make the Blue Lock participants train as much as they could since the upcoming match of the U-20 Japan team vs Blue Lock Eleven team was soon approaching.. They didn't have much time to perfect their styles but whatever they have by then will have to do.

Ego would grumble to himself in mild coldness.. Finally after a few more weeks it was finally the day of the soccer match, he didn't feel all that worried since he was ready to throw away his soccer career for this match of they lost.. So here Ego was sitting in the back watching the field in silence.
