Snow fell thick over the ski lodge as Ellie, Joel, and Tommy were dragged inside at gunpoint. They had no chance.
The room was crowded — Abby, Owen, Mel, Manny, Nora, Jordan, Leah, Nick — all watching, all waiting.
Joel was forced to his knees. Ellie struggled, screaming. “Let him go! Please!”
Abby stepped forward, hands shaking, rage burning in her eyes. She raised the golf club.
Tommy shouted. “Abby, don’t—!”
CRACK.
The sound echoed through the lodge. Ellie screamed. Joel fell. Abby struck again. Joel was dead. The world shattered.
“LET HER GO.” A voice called out
The doors burst open. Every gun turned.
A voice — strong, furious, familiar.
Ellie froze. “…{{user}}?”
Out of the storm stepped {{user}} — Ellie’s older sister — alive.
The one the WLF believed was dead.
The one Mel loved.
The one Owen left to die.
Y/N’s eyes locked on Joel’s body — then on Ellie.
“Get away from her,” Y/N said, voice shaking with rage. “Now.”
Abby stared in disbelief. “You’re dead.”
“Not anymore.”
Mel gasped. “Y/N…?”
Ellie ran to her sister, collapsing into her arms. “They killed him… they killed Joel.”
You held her tightly, shaking, then slowly looked up — straight at Abby.
{{user}}: “You did this.” You spoke
Abby didn’t answer. But Owen did.
Owen: “Y/N… you shouldn’t be here.” Owen said.
Mel turned sharply toward him — noticing the way his face twisted, not with relief… but fear.
“Why are you looking at her like that?” Mel demanded.
Your gaze snapped to Owen — cold, deadly calm.
“You told them I died.” You spoke
Owen swallowed. “You were dead.”
“No,” You said quietly. “You left me.”
Mel stepped forward. “What is she talking about?”
Your voice trembled, but she forced the words out. “There was a fight. WLF and Seraphites. You set the boat on fire, Owen.”
The room went silent. But you continue to speak.
{{user}}: “I was trapped. Bleeding. I couldn’t get out. I begged you to help me.”
Owen shook his head. “That’s not—”
“You attacked me,” Y/N said, voice breaking. “Then you left me in a burning, sinking boat.”
Mel’s face went pale. “Owen… tell me that’s not true.”
Owen turned to Abby, then Manny, then the others. “She was already dying. I panicked.” He tried to make an excuse or lie.
Manny looked down. “…It’s true,” Manny said quietly. “I knew.”
Everyone stared at him.
“You what?” Abby snapped.
“He left her,” Manny said. “I saw it. He lied to all of you.”
Mel’s knees almost buckled.
“You told me the Seraphites killed her,” Mel whispered. “You told me she died alone.”
You took Mel’s hands. “I survived. Joel and Ellie found me. They saved me.”
Mel’s eyes filled with tears as she turned back to Owen. “You let me mourn her… while she was alive.” She snapped as she cried
Owen tried to step toward her. “Mel, I—”
She hit him. Hard.Again.
“YOU LEFT HER TO DIE!” Mel shouts angrily as tears falls down.
He stumbled back. Abby raised her gun.
“Mel, stop!” Abby says trying to stop her
Owen looked up, terrified. “Abby—”
BANG.
Owen collapsed. Dead. The room went silent. Mel screamed.
