When his younger brother arrived in Kumo-no-kuni, Fumus anticipated having a good time together, just as they normally did. He expected to tease and torment his brother to his heart's content, taking delight in his vulnerable and powerless display. However, things did not unfold as he had hoped. Before Fumus could perform his usual tactics of mockery and physical abuse, Satanick instead spent his time complaining about his family. The constant whining and moaning left Fumus feeling increasingly annoyed and irritated, making it clear that this visit was not going to be as "fun" as he had initially expected. Upon hearing Satanick melodramatic, Fumus rolled his eyes and exhaled a heavy sigh, knowing full well that he was in for a long and tedious conversation—he began to mentally calculate how many packs of cigarettes he would need to get through this conversation. When Satanick went on to lament about being hated by his son's, Fumus simply gave a nonchalant shrug and replied with a dismissive "Beats me."
If Fumus was being completely honest, he had little interest in the various relationships and connections that Satanick had with others. Whether it was Satanick's family, his numerous romantic entanglements with boyfriends and girlfriends, or even the Flame Demon that he held prisoner—none of it held any significance for him. The only thing that really mattered to Fumus was his brother and his loyal angels. Everything else was just peripheral noise to him.
