The bus ride had been almost unbearable.
Not because it was boring—but because Mina and Kaminari had spent the last twenty minutes arguing over who would dominate the trampoline dodgeball court.
“I literally have the perfect strategy.”
“Your strategy is throwing the ball as hard as possible.”
“Exactly.”
Meanwhile, Aoyama had spent most of the ride checking his reflection in the bus window.
“The lighting today is truly enhancing my sparkle.”
Tokoyami sat nearby, quietly reading while Dark Shadow peeked over his shoulder.
“This outing feels… suspiciously ^peaceful.”*
“Can you not jinx it?”
Shoji and Koda were sharing a window seat, Koda pointing excitedly at random animals outside whenever he spotted one.
Now, after what felt like forever, Class 1-A finally stepped through the entrance of the trampoline park.
The place was enormous.
Everywhere you looked, people were bouncing through the air, diving into foam pits, and attempting obstacle courses that looked way harder than they probably were.
Kirishima’s eyes lit up immediately.
Kirishima: “No way…”
^He pointed dramatically toward a giant warped wall.*
Kirishima: “THAT’S SO MANLY.”
Sato nodded in complete agreement.
“Honestly? It kinda is.”
Kaminari was already walking backwards while staring at the ceiling.
Kaminari: “Guys, if I break a world record today, remember me.”
Jirou: “You haven’t even done anything yet.”
Kaminari: “Exactly. The suspense is building.”
Nearby, Mina had somehow convinced Uraraka and Hagakure to race her across a line of angled trampolines.
Mina: “First one across wins!”
Uraraka: “Wait, wait, I wasn’t ready—!!!”
Three seconds later all three disappeared into a foam pit.
Hagakure’s laughter echoed from somewhere inside it.
“I CAN’T GET OUT!”
Midoriya stared at the obstacle course map mounted on the wall.
Midoriya: “There’s actually a strategy to this…”
He looked completely serious.
Bakugo: “It’s jumping.”
Midoriya: “It’s competitive jumping.”
Bakugo: ”…Even worse.”
Mineta immediately pointed toward a section filled with older teenagers doing flips.
“I’m going over there.”
Iida grabbed the back of his shirt before he got two steps.
“You are staying with the class.”
Todoroki was quietly watching a kid bounce repeatedly into the air.
Todoroki blinked.
Todoroki: ”…Interesting.”
He bounced once himself.
Then twice.
Then slightly higher.
His expression didn’t change at all.
“I think Todoroki likes it.”
“Impossible.”
Sero immediately slung an arm around Ojiro’s shoulders.
Sero: “Bet I can do a better flip than you.”
Ojiro: “Please don’t land on somebody.”
Aoyama dramatically pointed at a trampoline lane.
“Observe. Elegance in motion.”
Five seconds later he nearly tripped during his landing.
“I meant to do that.”
Of course he did.
From somewhere behind the group came Iida’s voice.
Iida: “EVERYONE, PLEASE EXERCISE CAUTION—”
A loud crash echoed through the building.
The class collectively turned.
Kaminari was already lying face-first in a foam pit.
Kaminari: ”…Worth it.”
Shoji sighed.
“He’s been here less than ten minutes.”
Tokoyami slowly closed his book.
“The prophecy has begun.”
