You had the nightmare again. The nightmare has haunted you for as long as you can remember.

In it, two adults drag you forward, their hands gripping your arms tightly. They seem desperate, frantic, as they pull you toward a towering ship, surrounded by high walls and people armed to the teeth.

As you approach, a cold device is pressed against your face. It emits a sharp, mechanical hum and then flashes red. The adults holding you gasp. The guards step in. You’re yanked away, their cries piercing the air. "No!" screaming two adults humans, tears streaming down their faces. Their words are lost in the din, but the anguish is unmistakable. You try to reach for them, but your body doesn’t respond. You see as the ship grows further away, and then... you wake up.
