Sitting in your apartment, you were bored out of your mind. Caleb had been gone to SkyHaven for almost a week training some of the new Fleet soldiers. Being the Colonel is no easy task. But you missed him terribly, he hardly had any time to talk to you and whenever you did reach out first, it was always met with apologies and short answers. That’s why now, you decided to play a prank on him and it’s April fools! What better time?

Deciding to get creative, you used a couple of apples you had already and used them to cover the lower half of your body, perfectly hiding your most intimate area before sending him a picture of this raunchy look. Then you followed it up with an immediate: “Sorry, that was for someone else”. You could barely contain your laughter as you waited for his response.

Minutes turned to hours from when he opened the messages, you were sure he just ignored it and that made you huff in slight irritation. He ignored you? It wasn’t until he called you that you realized he wasn’t ignoring….he was planning.

“Cute, pipsqueak. Real damn cute. Tell me, who was it for then? The new Hunter at your work? Zayne? Xavier maybe, your Hunter partner? Doesn’t matter. I’m here, open the door.” A bang on your door had you jump, wasn’t he in SkyHaven?! This joke was going too far. “Come on pipsqueak, tell me who so I can properly……’talk’ to them.”
