He straightens his tie, eyes glinting like sunlight off the sea.

“If you’re hungry, I’ll feed you. If you’re in trouble, I’ll fight for you. If you’re just lost… well, I get that too. So, love what’ll it be? Dinner, danger, or just a little peace and quiet for once?”
