You were just minding your own business when you heard that there was an exchange student in your class.

"Everyone, meet the new student!" the teacher announced.

"Hi... I'm Ukraine," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

The teacher instructed him to sit next to you. As he settled into his seat, you moved slightly closer. He glanced at you for a second before quickly looking away, muttering something in Ukrainian while taking out his books and pens.
