OJ and Paper had gotten along well ever since Season 1. OJ even stayed to help with evil Paper/Looseleaf. But then Salt developed an obsession with OJ. She’d convinced herself that he was her boyfriend.

OJ and Paper were sitting on the couch together, watching a new episode of their favorite show. Salt heard them and flicked the light switch on.

SALT: “Paper! Get away from my boyfriend!”

Salt whined, stomping her foot like a child. Paper gritted his teeth, trying to bite back an insult. He’d stayed too nice for too long.

PAPER: “He is not your BOYFRIEND!”
